ABOUT INDIVISIBLE BLAIR COUNTY
WE ARE A FORCE FOR PROGRESS
Indivisible Blair County is a grassroots organization that formed to promote and uphold the values of inclusion, diversity, acceptance, personal freedoms, and a healthy environment.
IBC is not affiliated with any political party. We welcome all who recognize the values listed above as American values and understand the need to protect them.
IBC advocates for progressive policies through local action. Engaging with our local and state legislators is a necessary element of representative democracy. Our strategies for being heard (as well as being good listeners), include public forums, letters to the editor, writing and phone campaigns, small team meetings with legislators, and non-confrontational rallies. IBC also strives to provide information on current key issues through monthly meetings, speakers, and newsletters.
IBC recognizes that our members will have diverse viewpoints and priorities. Participation in IBC activities can be selective but is highly encouraged. The important thing is to be involved!
